Outstanding rare cabinet card of a large steam tractor billowing smoke from its chimney.  There is a shovel in the foreground and a pair of boards beneath the wheels, suggesting that moving this piece of machinery could be a challenge in certain conditions and especially in wet weather.   A man stands on the front adjusting a valve while a group of men and boys surround the vehicle.  The remaining farmhands are seen watching from the barn, curious about whether this new contraption will cost them their jobs.  An older wooden wagon is visible on the left.  The image is slightly dark and has very little surface wear.  By Johnson Bros, Artists.
