Sharp pair of sixth-plate ruby ambrotypes of a brother with his two sisters and a woman posed with two men. The images are in excellent condition and still retain the original paper seals. The ambrotype of the woman and two men does have a hairline mark on the back of the glass which is not seen from the front and appears to be stable. The images are housed in a red book style case with a gilded flowers on the front and back. The case is a swing style design with the ambrotypes back to back and a red velvet mat on each cover. There has been an underlayment hinge repair which does not show on the spine, which reads Friendships Offerings in gold gilded script.
